The past few days have been very stressful for me. I have been back and forth to many vets, none of which could find out what was wrong and why I was feeling so icky. Spent the weekend at the Sonoran Animal Hospital and they were very good to me. Even met a handsome Tomcat named Tiger who pretty much runs the place. While he was dreamy and all, I really just wanted to feel better, but try as they might, the nice Doctors there just couldn’t figure out what the problem was because I couldn’t afford the tests neccessary. That being said, they were very kind and watchful over me and did their best to make me comfortable while I stayed there. I have nothing but nice things to say about them…Especially Tiger. *swoons*
Thanks to your continued donations, I was able to finally get an ultrasound scheduled, and this morning I had it done. At some point in my travels around my home I injested something I shouldn’t have and it was lodged in my small intestine. Imagine my surprise! I immediately underwent emergency surgery at around 2pm today, and by 4pm Doctor Zuvers had removed the obstruction and stitched me back up. When I awoke, my embarssment really began because for the surgery they had shaved me and my belly and abdomen were completely exposed to the world! Thankfully, the staff provided me with a heated blanket so I could rebuild my warmth and somewhat regain my dignity; but only so much.
Currently I am staying the next 48 hours at All Star so they can keep me under observation to make sure my stiches hold and that I begin my road to recovery and even though there are dogs located in the kennel directly below mine, it’s still a nice enough place until I get to go back home for good.
I’m almost through the tunnel and it’s only because of the kindness of all of you! Please keep spreading the word so that I can afford to pay the bills that have racked up during this turmoiltuous period in my life. I’ll keep you all updated on how I’m doing! I would write more, but the morphine is starting to kick in and I like cheezeburgers because Neko is my sister who likes to sleep on the couch and where is my hat?
ZZzzzzzzzzzz….
Please continue to help Ryoko!

Glad to hear Ryoky is feeling better. Hope she will be home soon.
